Wood Words Card & Tuesday Tip Video Tutorial

Hi there and Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start. I’m playing catch up after being away visiting family for most of the weekend. I’m looking forward to a productive week ahead and then some fun on the weekend.

For my project today I’m featuring the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. It is on sale part of the Buy 3, Get 1 free DSP sale. I hope Chip & Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper would approve. The look on my card reminds of something they would feature on a piece furniture or even a wall! I took my overall color scheme from the Neutrals color collection. Navy is very trendy in kitchen islands so I just went with that look. Do you have a favorite place you go to for inspiration?

For the sentiment I used the Wood Words stamp set. Here is a look at the stamps in the set:

Measurements:

Crumb Cake card base: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼”

Night of Navy cardstock: 3 1/8” x 4 1/8”

Crumb Cake cardstock: 3” x 4”
