Piece of Cake Birthday Card

Stampin Up Piece of Cake

Happy Thursday! I’m excited to almost have a weekend to catch up on some stamping projects. It is so fun when there are new catalogs to jump in and play with all the new products. Yesterday was my co-worker Karin’s birthday so I had to make her a card for our team to sign. We have a fun admin team and birthday crew. We celebrate everyone’s birthday (it is optional to participate) with cake and singing. We all chip in for the birthday club yearly so it covers the cost of a cake.

For my card I hopped over to the CASE-ing Tuesday group to see what they were up to for the week. The sketch was perfect to whip up a quick birthday card with the How Sweet It Is DSP and Piece of Cake stamp set. Note: The Piece of Cake is available in a bundle, but I didn’t use the bundle punch for my card.

Measurements:
Melon Mambo cardstock - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼”
DSP (large cupcake & candy pattern) – 3” x 4 ¼”
DSP (Coastal Cabana polka dot pattern) – 2” x 4”
Whisper White cardstock – 2 ½” square for circle
Whisper White cardstock – 5/8” x 4”

All the products I used on my card are noted below. If you would like to place an order at my Online Store my January host code is TNFEK2PM

I’ll be back on Sunday with another project to share.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy Stampin’
Christine
