Happy Sunday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mother
Nature blessed us with a fantastic Spring weekend both days at or above 65
degrees. I was able to enjoy yesterday by taking a nice long walk outside near
a local pond. I got some crafting done this weekend to prepare for our
team meeting which was held this afternoon.
The project I am showing today starting as an up-cycle. I had
a project in a frame from retreat a few weeks ago, but the project highlighted
a Sale-A-Bration stamp set and I wanted to give the frame a new current
project. This is a great, easy project for Spring.
A few tips:
- My frame measures 7” square, but the view-able area is only 6 ¾” square so I left a ¼” border around my daisies
- I took the color scheme from the colors in the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper and paired pinks in one row, yellows & oranges in the next, greens & blues in the last in light to dark order
- Make sure your frame has enough room to support dimensionals and faceted gems
- I laid out the first layer of daisies trying not to touch each other adhering with liquid glue. The top daisy layers were added with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- This is a great project to use up cardstock scraps
I’ll be back on Tuesday with a card and Tuesday Tip video to share.
Happy Stampin’,
Christine
