Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend is going well. We had a
gorgeous day here in Massachusetts yesterday. I made sure to get outside to
enjoy the sunshine at a local pond in Woburn and something amazing happened. We
spotted a great blue heron by the stream and watched it for about 15 minutes.
During that time we saw it catch and eat its dinner. My husband even captured it on video. I feel like I could have watched it for hours. Nature sure is
spectacular!
Today has been a crafting day. I had to design my swaps for
our team meeting today. I really needed some stamping therapy as it has been a
very stressful week at my day job. I played around with a few techniques with
the new Daisy Lane stamp set (available in the new annual catalog starting June
4th). I settled on a faux watercolor technique. Just ink up your
stamp then spritz with water in a Stampin Spritzer. For best results stamp on
Watercolor Paper or Shimmery White cardstock.
Measurements:
Sahara Sand card base - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼
Highland Heather cardstock – 3 ¾” x 5”
Shimmery White cardstock - 3 ¾” x 5”
Note I also used the Perennial Essence Floral Centers (available in the
new annual catalog starting June 4th) on my card.
Please let me know if you have any questions. The rest of the products
I used are below. Time is running out to shop the retiring Last Chance
products. My May host code is U4K2UZMR if you would like to place an order in my
Online Store.
I’ll be back on Tuesday with another project to share.
Happy Stampin’,
Christine
