So Long Grapefruit Grove

Stampin Up Label Me Pretty

Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend is going well. It is hard to distinguish the weekdays and weekends lately since we have been home for so long! We are jazzfesting in place this weekend with WWOZ radio from New Orleans. If you need some good music in your life check it out. There are some performances from back in the early 70’s (before I was born) that are some of my favorites. For the early 2000 performances we have asked ourselves were we at that show? We were die hard jazz festers for 10 years before we switched to attending French Quarter Fest.

My card today features a farewell to the retiring in-color Grapefruit Grove. Reminder did you stock up on cardstock and reinker yet? I expect those to sell out asap. I’m also using the retiring Label Me Pretty stamp set and Nature’s Twine. I’m playing with a monochromatic challenge today so I mixed Grapefruit Grove with Petal Pink. Here is a closer look at the stamp set:
Measurements:
Petal Pink card base - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼
Grapefruit Grove cardstock – 4” x 5 ¼”
Petal Pink cardstock scraps for stamping
Nature’s Twine – 12” piece (pull apart into two threads)

I am offering make and take packets for orders in my Online Store with host code CCKYNJQY this month. If you spend over $25 you will receive three birthday projects featuring the Birthday Bonanza DSP and if you spend over $50 you will receive four thank you projects featuring the Ornate Garden card class. Please note these will be card packets and will not include stamped images.

Let me know if you have any questions. I’ll be back on Tuesday with a creative project to share live at 7pm Eastern on my Facebook page.

Happy Stampin’,
Christine
