Mistletoe Season Retreat Swap Card

Stampin Up Mistletoe Season

Happy Friday! I hope you had a wonderful week and are ready for some fun & sun this weekend! I took today off to do some errands, finally unpack from the stamping retreat I attended last weekend, and get my office/craft area cleaned up and ready for the new holiday catalog.

I wanted to give a brief update on retreat last weekend. This time I took two classes and organized an optional card swap for the attendees. We had a blast. Friday night during class the power went out at the hotel! I was holding my cell phone in my left hand with my flash light app while stamping my cards with my right hand. We made the best of it.

My card swap was pretty easy and was inspired by something my friend James recently shared at a team meeting. We were talking about the new Dynamic embossing folders. He mentioned how they looked so beautiful embossed with one of the foil papers. I went through my stash and had just enough Gold Foil to complete my swaps.

Measurements:
Real Red card base - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼”

Gold Foil - 4" square
DSP - 1" x 4"
Ribbon -  5" piece

All the card swaps from the group (some have new product coming out in a few weeks):

Our make & takes (they were all gift card holders):

Our gifts (inside the polka dot bag was a wine glass and metallic pearls. The little Santa rectangle is cranberry soap! Selene always spoils us):

The next retreat is the first weekend in November. I'll be teaching a class. Let me know if you want to join us? I'd be happy to share the information.

I’ll be back on Sunday with another project to share.

Happy Stampin’,
Christine
