Happy Tuesday! I am
back on track with the work week. I hope your week is off to a pleasant start.
We are having an end of summer scorcher here in Massachusetts so I am trying to
stay cool with lots of iced cold beverages. I have some swaps to finish this week
so I’ll be in my stamp room with the AC cranked. I feel so bad for my friends
who had to juggle school schedules for their kids this week since so many of
the schools had unexpected half days.
Two weekends ago I was
at a stamping retreat weekend and one of the items in our goody bag was the
awesome Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper. Well I cut into that
pack of paper like it was going out of style and made about twenty birthday cards.
I had the coordinating cardstock pack in the goody bag so all I needed was a
birthday stamp set and embellishments. I picked the Picture Perfect Birthdaystamp set, Basic Black Shimmer ribbon, and Metallic Pearls.
If you need a recipe
for a quick birthday card check out my video tutorial:
Measurements:
Card base - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼”
Basic Black layer – 3
¾” x 5”
DSP – 3 ½” x 4 ¾”
Ribbon – 5” piece
Thanks for stopping by
today. I’ll be back on Thursday to share another project.
Happy Stampin’,
Christine
