Peaceful Poppies Elements Card & Tuesday Tip

Stampin Up Peaceful Poppies Elements

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start. I am finally today starting to feel a ton better thank goodness! I actually worked 8 hours in the office today. Yesterday I only survived 7 hours and most of those hours were spent blowing my nose. I think it helped that it was 60 degrees outside today. I did sneak out at lunch time to take a short walk.

My card today features the Peaceful Poppies Elements. I wanted to show these off a while ago, but they were on backorder and are now available again. You get 8 sheets of elements to use on your projects. Here is a look at the elements:

Want to see how I made this card? Check out my video below:

#chooselove challenge

Stampin Up Butterfly Gala

Happy Thursday! I hope your week is going well. Today I am playing in a #chooselove challenge started by my upline and friend Selene. Do you have days when you see people posting negative vibes online? I sure do. This challenge was to make something you love and post it online for the world to see.

For my card I had this idea in my head for a few weeks. I bought a dress at Talbots a few weeks ago and it is the inspiration for my card. Here is a photo of the dress:

I got busy stamping with my Butterfly Gala stamp set and a Memento ink pad. What makes the card for me is that I embossed the stamped card front and sentiment with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Have you ever tried that? It makes the card look like material. Here is a closer look at the stamp set:

Measurements:
Basic Black card base - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼
Lovely Lipstick cardstock – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”
Whisper White cardstock – 3 ¾” x 5”
Ribbon – 12”
Whisper White scrap for sentiment

All the products I used are noted below. If you need anything pop over to my Online Store to place an order. Use host code BGAYUMFM and get a surprise in the mail from me for your order.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I’ll be back on Sunday with another project to share.

Christine

Butterfly Gala Card & Tuesday Tip

Butterfly Gala Stampin Up

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start. It is hot here, but I am beating the heat by crafting in my air conditioned home and drinking lots of cold beverages. Luckily our high heat warning expires tonight and we move back to the high 80’s tomorrow. Woo-hoo!

For my card today I wanted to show off the Stampin’ Blends in a new and unique way. I grabbed my Butterfly Gala stamp set and Butterfly Duet Punch and got to work. My design is a sweet & simple sketch for you this week. Here is a closer look at the stamp set:

To see how I colored my butterfly watch my video below and make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel:

Butterfly Gala Swap Card

Stampin Up Butterfly Gala

Happy Friday! I planned to post this card last night, but had my valentine card class. Winter has finally arrived in Massachusetts with our first big snow storm coming this weekend. No complaints for me as I’ll be indoors crafting watching the snow come down.

Today’s card was a swap I just participated in with a training group. Fun fact my 21 cards went all the way to Arizona (where our amazing swap coordinator lives) and then she sorts everyone’s cards and sends us back a package with 21 different cards. I always try to participate with every new catalog so I have cards with different stamping styles.

My card features the Gingham Gala suite of products. It is one of my favorites suites in the Occasions catalog. It is such a nice spring feeling card for the middle of a cold winter in Massachusetts. Here is a look at the Butterfly Gala Bundle from the suite:

Measurements:
Highland Heather cardstock - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼”
Whisper White cardstock - 3 3/4" x 5"
Gingham Gala DSP - 1 ½" x 5"
Ribbon - 6 ½" piece
Highland Heather & Whisper White cardstock - 3" x 4" for ovals

All the products I used on my card are listed below. If you purchase $50 or even $100 in product from the Gingham Gala suite you can earn free Sale-A-Bration rewards. If you would like to order from my Online Store my January host code is TNFEK2PM

I’ll be back on Sunday with another project to share.

Let me know if you have any questions.
