Hello Pineapple!

I hope you are staying cool wherever you are in the country. It has been brutally hot here in New England the past week. Not that I am complaining as I would rather have the heat then snow. Summer is way too short around here. I have been enjoying outdoor concerts, a sand sculpting festival, lots of ice cream, and lobster rolls. I am headed down to Cape Cod over the next two weekends to soak up some more of summer.

I had made a pineapple frame I shared last month and I decided to CASE myself to create just a card with the same idea. I think it would be cute for a summer birthday or to send to anyone to just say hello. I covered my Pineapple with Wink of Stella to add some glimmer & bling.

Christine's Tip: Bundle & Save! When you purchase the Thoughtful Banners stamp set & Duet Banner punch you can save 10%.

New Catalog Projects!

I hope your week is going well. It was super busy at work so I was happy to dig into my pre-order box of goodies the past two evenings after work. Stampin' Up! home office had a call for display stampers for the November Onstage event and I challenged myself to participate by creating three cards, one scrapbook page, and two 3D items. I used some new products that are available to order now. I'm not sure if I made the cut-off for the call as I write this post, but I am still happy that I accomplished the task for myself.

Card # 1 features the new Pop of Pink Washi Tape and new Thoughful Banners Photopolymer stamp set. The stamp set coordinates with the Duet Banner punch, but I wanted to show it off without using the coordinating punch. For the rhinestones I colored them black with a Sharpie.

Card # 2 again features the new Pop of Pink Washi Tape and new Thoughtful Banners Photopolymer Bundle (stamp set & coordinating Duet Banner punch). This time I wanted to show off the coordinating products. I couldn't resist coloring in some of the lines from the stamped banner with my Melon Mambo marker.

Card # 3 features can you guess? Yes! The new Pop of Pink Washi Tape and new Thoughtful Banners Photopolymer Bundle (stamp set & coordinating punch). With this card I wanted to show a masculine card with the washi tape. I can picture people seeing the name Pop of Pink and thinking girly, but there are two washi tapes in the packet that do not contain pink. This card also features the new 2016-2018 in-color Emerald Envy cardstock and ink (used for sponging edges).

Scrapbook Page - I am behind in memory keeping our April trip to New Orleans. I made one Project Life page featuring the Memories in the Making Project Life collection which is retired. I highlighted the name of the ice cream in my photo with some triangle stickers from the kit and colored in the heart from the Project Life card with my Watermelon Wonder marker. I am drooling looking at that ice cream in the photo!

3D Item # 1 features the new stamp set Pineapple. The frame is 8x10 purchased at a local store. I stamped the pineapple 5 times on Shimmer White cardstock and fussy cut them out with my paper snips. What you can't tell in the photo is that I colored the pineapples with my clear Wink of Stella brush to add some luster. This project also features the Thoughtful Banners Photopolymer Bundle (stamp set & coordinating punch).

3D Item # 2 is a Mini Treat Bag featuring the new Pop of Pink Washi Tape & new Thoughtful Banners Photopolymer stamp set. For the washi tape hearts I tore a piece of washi tape and stuck it on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock then sent it through my Big Shot with the heart border then I cut away the excess. The heart border comes in the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit. I randomly stamped the i love you's, but you could certainly use some more washi tape or a stampamajig to line up your stamp more precisely.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my projects and that something above inspires you. Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to sharing some more new projects soon.

Happy Stampin',
Christine
