OnStage 2017 Swap Card & Recap

Happy Thursday! As I mentioned I was away last week from Wednesday-Sunday for Stampin’ Up’s OnStage event in Salt Lake City. It was my first time to Salt Lake City and it was incredible. I had so much fun.

Stampin Up Sharing Sweet Thoughts

Happy Tuesday! Today's share is my card from our team meeting swap this past Sunday night. The theme of our swap was summer and I knew immediately I wanted to use the strawberries from the Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set. There is a well known farm just minutes from my house called Parlee Farm and it is a must place to visit for strawberries when they come in season.

I want to take a minute to talk about the stamp set. It is a special set on the last page of the 2017-2018 annual catalog. Every year Stampin' Up! designs a stamp set for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. For every stamp set sold they donate $3 to the charity. This year's set coordinates with the Everyday Jar Framelits Dies too. Here are the images in the set:

I also wanted to share how I colored in my strawberries. I used watercolor pencils and a blender pen. With limited supplies you can have gorgeous results. I even made a video tutorial to show you the technique.

Measurements for the card:
Old Olive card base - 4 1/4" by 11" scored at 5 1/2"
Whisper White layer - 3 3/4" by 5"
Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper - 1" by 5"
