Perfectly Plaid Card

Stampin Up Perfectly Plaid

Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend is going well. I am a busy bee getting caught up on prepping to-go kits and for next weekend’s snowman sampler class. I have 16 people signed up for my class next weekend so I have quite a bit of cutting to do. I’m excited to spend the entire weekend crafting along the Maine coast.

The card I am sharing today is one I designed for my first Christmas card club of the season. I used items from the Wrapped in Plaid suite including the Perfectly Plaid Bundle, Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper, and Shaded Spruce Gold Striped Ribbon.

Here is a look at the bundle. Don't forget when you purchase a bundle you save 10%!

Measurements:
Cherry Cobbler card base - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼
Shaded Spruce cardstock – 3 ¾” x 5”
DSP – 2” x 5”
Whisper White cardstock – 2” x 3” (for tree)
Whisper White cardstock – 2” x 4” (for sentiment)
Whisper White cardstock – 3 ¾” x 5” (for inside)
Ribbon – 6 ½” piece

Save the date for my next Christmas card club on Wednesday, October 30th. We will be making eight Christmas cards. More details coming soon!

Perfectly Plaid Swap Card

Stampin Up Perfectly Plaid

Happy Thursday! I hope your week is going well. I am ready for the weekend already. I need some time to get caught up on cleaning and laundry. It is time to wash all my sweaters as the weather gets cooler. I’m slowly trying to accept that Fall is almost here.

The card I am sharing today is one I created for a swap with 20 business demonstrators from across the country part of the training group I am in. We do an optional card swap with every new catalog. It is a great way for me to get samples for my display boards. I also love getting a variety of cards I can CASE for my classes. I used the Perfectly Plaid Bundle, Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper, and Shaded Spruce/Gold Striped Ribbon. Here is a look at the bundle:

Measurements:
Shaded Spruce card base - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼
Whisper White cardstock – 3 ¾” x 5” - 2 pieces, one for the inside
DSP – 1” x 5”
Ribbon – 6 ½” piece
Gold Foil – 2 ¼” square
Shaded Spruce – 2 ½” square
Whisper White cardstock – 2” x 2 ½”
