Happy May! I wanted to share a special sneak peek today since our new annual catalog goes live one month from today. If you are interested in getting a peek at the new catalog and being able to pre-order new catalog merchandise now is an exciting time to join my stamping team. Here are a few perks:

  • 20%-25% discount on the best paper crafting products on the market
  • Monthly team meetings in Massachusetts
  • Weekly creative challenges
  • Access to Stampin Connection website with thousands of creative project ideas
  • Stampin Success magazine
  • Opportunity to attend OnStage events

Now about today’s project. The was inspired by a cute make and take from OnStage in Shreveport a few weeks ago. I loved the project and it helped me fall in love with the Wood Textures Suite. I wanted to step it up a bit and add some more layering so I added some circle framelits to the project. The crate is big enough to hold a set of mini cards and envelopes (made with our Envelope Punch Board).

Tips for today’s project:

  • I found my crate to be a bit flimsy using just the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack so I cut a crate from Crumb Cake cardstock and one from DSP and glued them together to make it a bit sturdier.
  • My mini card measures 3” by 3” to get the most bang for your buck invest in 12” x 12” cardstock so you can cut the paper 6” x 3” and get no waste.
  • I stamped off on the star image to get a lighter color in the background and then stamped the sentiment in full strength

Don’t forget about the Retirement Sale going on through May 31st. There are some amazing products still available. Accessories are while supplies last and stamp sets will be produced until 5/22. If you don’t have a demonstrator I would love for you to place an order in my Online Store by clicking here. If you use the host code: R3PKGRJW in the month of May I will send you a special thank you gift.

I hope my project today inspired you to get crafty. Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy Stampin’,
Christine
