Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend is going well. I’m in
beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts visiting my in-laws for a quick overnight
trip. The weather is absolutely gorgeous after an excruciating hot holiday
week.
For my project today I played along with the CASE-ing
Tuesday Facebook group. I have to admit this is not my favorite card as I feel
it needs something added to it. I might try to makeover this card this week and
share the new version.
I used the Touches of Texture stamp set and stamped off in
Sahara Sand ink and then watercolored the flowers and leaves with new of the
new in-colors and a Aquapainter. I then squeezed some water in my Lovely Lipstick
ink pad lid and picked it up with the Aquapainter and flicked it with one
finger to get a speckled look on my card. Here is a look at the images in the stamp set:
Measurements:
Sahara Sand card base - 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score in half at 4 ¼”
Lovely Lipstick cardstock - 3 1/8" x 5 1/8"
Shimmery White cardstock - 3" x 5"
