Regional Make & Takes

I finally have a few minutes to share the Make & Takes from the Stampin' Up! Spring 2011 Regional in Hartford. I already shared the CREATE banner with my previous post of the frame. There is also one card I haven't quite finished since I just got the punch to create the border.

The make & takes used the stamp set Nature Walk & Botanical Gazette DSP from the Occasions Mini catalog, Thank You Kindly from the Idea Book & Catalog. They were a lot of fun for me since they all have a vintage style which is not my normal style. The above card is a 3 x 3 mini card and includes a vanilla rosette that we colored with a Cherry Cobbler marker and our Aquapainter. After coloring set aside to dry.

Next is a full card we did a ruffle technique with the seam binding ribbon and we used the Color Spritzer tool with markers to spritz the card with some extra color.

Next is a set of four mini 3 x 3 cards two above and two below. These were pretty easy peasy added some stamped images to the DSP, stamped the thank you sayings, punched out with the Decorative Label punch. Then you can use your Versamark pad to distress the labels a bit. Tie the seam binding in a knot and add with glue dots.

Finally the set of above four cards fits in this cute card holder. You take a piece of cardstock 7 x 7 and score it at 3.5 on both sides then cut off two corners essentially making what looks like a house.
